Sudanese Arabic is one of over a hundred languages spoken throughout the Republic. The official languages of the country, as established in 2005, are Arabic and English.  The Republic of Sudan is over 97% Islamic, primarily Sunni Muslims, including Ansar Sunnis and Khatmia Sunnis.
